Adrian Wildfire has worked as an infectious disease specialist for over 30 years. He began his career working with MDRTB at the Wolfson Institute, Hammersmith before going on to run diagnostic labs and research programmes within the fields of bacteriology, virology, parasitology and mycology. Adrian obtained a Fellowship in Medical Microbiology in 1990, and a Masters in Parasitology in 1998. Since 2012 He has specialized in Controlled Human Infection Modelling (CHIM) of respiratory disease and currently leads a multidisciplinary team manufacturing viral agents for use in CHIM trials. Adrian sits as scientific advisor on a number of infectious disease panels and is the author of papers and articles relating to HIV, ethics and viral challenge.
